SRHS MBT Registration Steps

Costs are $110 for the NICA Pit Zone Registration (Step 4), $55 per race and $275 for the SRHS Bike Dawg registration dues. In the 2024 / 2025 season two athletes received sponsorship from the Athletic Boosters, please email bikedawgsmanager@gmail.com by October 27th 2025 to be considered for that program.

Complete steps 1 to 4 by November 1st 2025.

Complete step 5 by December 1st 2025.

Step 1 - SRHS Athletics Medical Clearance Form. Required for any SRHS athletics participation. Complete the SRHS Athletics Medial Clearance form here. If Mountain Biking is your athlete’s only sport, select California, search our school, and complete the registration. If your athlete already participated in a sport, just add “Mountain Biking” to your profile.

Step 2 - SRHS MTB Registration Form. This is a Google form used to centralize emergency contacts, medical, and other important information for our coaches. Please complete the form here.

Step 3 - SRHS Team Waiver. Complete the 2025 / 2026 SRHS Mountain Bike team waiver and email the completed form to bikedawgsmanager@gmail.com .

Step 4 - NICA Pit Zone Registration.

• Returning Student Parents or Guardians - Login to the PitZone and follow the instructions for registration, which include the signed participation agreement, NICA Student-Athlete Membership and League Student Athlete Registration (totaling $110). Each Race Registration fee is $55.

• New Student Parents or Guardians - You will receive a final email, activated by the Team Manager, from donotreply@nationalmtb.org to register with the NICA Pit Zone.  follow the instructions for registration, which include the signed participation agreement, NICA Student-Athlete Membership and League Student Athlete Registration (totaling $110). Each Race Registration fee is $55.

Step 5 - SRHS Bike Dawgs Registration Dues. Pay the $275 SRHS registration dues on the cheddarup payments website. $275 covers the cost of one race kit per rider (shorts and jersey) and a team t-shirt, Misc. costs for equipment, coach training and team registration, park fees and camping for families during race events. Note that using the “e-check” payment option is cheaper than using a credit card.

OPTIONAL (If step 4 is not completed) - NICA Agreement to Participate/Release of Liability Waiver. This waiver is required if the athlete is not registered on the PitZone and is participating in an early season team ride. Complete the RIDER Agreement on the NICA website. Our team name and school name is “San Rafael High School”, our league is “NorCal”. When you receive the email confirmation of completion (From Dropbox Sign, Subject “You just signed RIDER Agreement to Participate/Release of Liability Waiver”) forward to bikedawgsmanager@gmail.com.
