Volunteer signups for NICA helps get better PitZone sites, and are generally a great thing to do for the NICA community. No riding experience is necessary for most opportunities.
Food : Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch will be served! $20 per person via Venmo to Chad; @casa123
Campsite : We’ve reserved campsites at Barrett Cove Friday night. Sites have been paid for by the Bike Dawgs. Additional cost of $12 for 2nd vehicle on each site, which will be paid when checking in. First car to arrive will get the free parking pass on M38, H3, H4 and H5 - so let that be your motivation to get there quick!
When checking in, tell them the campsite you’ve been assigned to (we can move things around once we settle in, if needed):
M40 - Geyer
M38 - Ruder + Cornwell
H3 - Kotula + Nitta
H4 - Charlesworth + Leopard
H5 - Silverstein + Sadowick
If you are a parent or spectator and are not camping, you need to purchase a day pass, here. Day-of parking passes aren’t available.
Race Location : Exchequer Bike Park/Barrett Cove
Friday, March 20th
Travel to Exchequer - pre-release from school at 11:20AM
Pre-Ride - 4PM
Dinner at campsite
Saturday, March 21st - Race Day
7:15AM - Coaches Meeting
8AM-2PM - High School Racing - 1st Race (varsity) @ 8AM. Breakfast and Lunch at the Pit. Volunteer, both at the Pit and for NICA.
2:30-ish - Podium
What else to know for Exchequer:
⛺️ Camping is the only option for this event. Motels/Hotels are 1.5 hours away.
No in and out of camp area during races. You will be able to exit camp area after 1pm on race day. If you plan to leave your campsite you must do so before 9am or after 1pm
