Volunteer signups for NICA helps us get better PitZone sites, and are generally a great thing to do for the NICA community. If you can, please do! No riding experience is necessary for most opportunities.

Friday, February 20

• 12PM- Team leaves for Fort Ord

• 3:15 - Tent Set-up

• 4PM - Pre-Ride

• 7PM - DInner at Gianni’s Pizza

Saturday, February 21 - Race Day

• 7AM - Arrive at Fort Ord/Pit Zone - Parents help with breakfast

• 7:15 - Coaches meeting

• 8AM-2:40 - High School Racing - First Race (Varsity) @ 8AM.

• 3-3:45ish - Podium

Sunday, February 22

What else to know for Fort Ord:

🏨 Lodging : Many hotel options nearby. A lot of the team is staying at Comfort Inn, Marina or Hampton Inn & Suites, Marina. These two are right next to each other.

🌏 Follow your map to Fort Ord Day Camp: 15301 Watkins Gate Rd, East Garrison, CA
93933. Enter via Watkins Gate Rd. NorCal League staff will help you park in designated
parking areas. Please allow ample time to get into this venue. Handicap parking is
available.

🚗 🟡After parking your car, head over to the PitZone, which will be our home base for this race. We will be in the yellow area which is after green and before red. You can always ask a volunteer where to go.

🍔 Ali & Chad will be shopping and taking care of breakfast and lunch on race day. Please venmo @casa123 $20 per person. Please ask how you can help (as Austin will be racing at 8AM/prime breakfast time)
